MDCG Fun Day: Tuesday 19th May 2015, 11.30am till 2.00pm … Bouncy Castles/Races/Fun and Games/Police car and Fire Engine attending/ toys and so much more! Please bring along on the day: pack lunch/drinks/cover and seat for yourself and your mindies ☺ *£2.00 per mindie

Nicola Sergeant is in the process of building our new website. On behalf of everyone within the group a HUGE thank you for organising this for all of us…. Also we will be under a new name…..  


as soon as Nikki has it ‘up and running’ all members can contact her and up date their info/send pictures and add their vacancies.

Membership Fee: £10 membership is due at the annual AGM in June this year. The membership can be paid on the night of the AGM or shortly afterwards to Angela Sewell (treasurer). If anyone still owes ‘Football Card’ money please get it to Angela Sewell a.s.a.p Angie has the lost of names of the girls that took cards thank you ☺

Daisy Park/Holytown Drop ins: Daisy Park Centre, Mondays and Friday 9.30am till 11.30am

Holytown Drop in. Wednesday mornings 9.30am till 11.30am

#both dropins are £1.50 per childminder, PLEASE support your groups if you can girls thank you ☺

* Healthy Eating Snacks, Crafts, Tea and Coffee and biscuits for all childminders and FREE PLAY ☺

MDCG Christmas Party: Saturday 5th December 2015. 2.00pm till 3.30pm in Calvary Church Hall … Entertainer and fun and games and Christmas Present for each child attending. There will be tickets going out nearer the time girls, sweets and reindeer dust on sale again this year ☺

Bowling Night: Date and time still to be verified. Thank you to Angela Mitchell for organising this event. ☺

First Aid Courses: A HUGE Thank you to Libby Watson for organising the past ‘First Aid Courses’ a profit of £5.40 for made for the MDCG funds.

MDCG AGM: 9th June 2015 in the John McCormack Centre in Carfin. 7.30pm till 9,30pm. It’s a ‘Buffet Night’ there will be a food list coming out soon, you will need to bring your own cutley/knife/fork/sppon/glass /something to drink. WE need your votes and support on the night girls…. Look forward to seeing you all there. If anyone needs alift or directions just ask anyone within the Committee thanks girls ☺

A HUGE Thank you: The Committee personally would like to thank Yvonne McCappin on behalf of the MDCG for her hard work and commitment organising the crafts for both drop ins each week, it’s very much appreciated.

MDCG Christmas Night Out: Yvonne and Lorraine are looking into an ‘Abba Tribute’ night for the Christmas Night out this year …. Let either of us know if you are keen to attend. ☺

Photographer: Vicki Jackson has kindly offered to organise a ‘photography session to help boast the MDCG funds. If anyone is interested please add your name to Vikki’s list ☺ #tell your family and friends and mindies parents…. The more the merrier. Probably talking around October 2015. will get back with more info nearer the time.

Get well soon girls: The Committee and the whole group would just like to wish Alison Gibson and Nikki Sergeant and Kirsty Brown and Kirsty Robertson a speedy recovery.

New toys purchased: New toys for both drop ins were purchased with Grant Money of £590 awarded to the MDCG.

Face Book Page: All MDCG Paid members have been added to the new ‘private page’ MDCG your administrators are: Nikki Sergeant/Dawn Sharp/Vicki Jackson, this is a great way to chat/give out bargains/ideas/food recipes/venues/and up and coming events within the MDCG ….. any member who isn’t on Face Book will be text with up and coming events and important news etc.

If anyone has any questions/suggestions/ideas/complaints …. PLEASE bring them to my attention either by a letter or a phone call, I am only to happy to help you out if I can.
